Dr. Jun Lee

Dr. Lee was born in South Korea but grew up in Argentina for most of his youth until moving to California at the age of 10. He completed both his Bachelor’s and Masters of Science degree in biochemistry at the University of California, San Diego where he graduated magna cum laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He received his Medical Degree at the University at Buffalo and completed his residency in internal medicine at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills, California. Dr. Lee has completed his rheumatology fellowship at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia Medical Center.

Dr. Lee is dedicated to taking care of patients with all types of autoimmune and musculoskeletal conditions. He is a strong believer in developing strong patient-physician relationships in order to improve the overall health of his patients. His multi-cultural background enables him to incorporate cultural context to provide quality care for patients from diverse backgrounds.

To provide more comprehensive care, Dr. Lee has also completed additional training through the Ultrasound School of North American Rheumatologists (USSONAR) program and is able to perform ultrasound guided procedures and evaluations. Dr. Lee has also conducted research throughout his academic career and has published in many peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. Lee is fluent in Spanish and Korean.
